Most projects take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. It's not uncommon for a project to take a month or more. It all depends on:

how thoroughly you answer our questions to give us clarity on what you need
Simply put, the quicker we work through each section in it's entirety, the quicker the website will be completed. In certain situations we may proceed in the interest of keeping a certain timeline at the request of the client. Meaning, we don't cut corners or mindlessly rush through work. We can focus on brevity and streamlining certain aspects if requested but that is not the general expectation.

You don’t need everything perfectly polished before reaching out. Part of our job is helping you clarify what you need. Check out our guide for more details on getting prepared.

We don't currently have copywriters or photographers on staff.
However, if you need assistance we’re happy to make suggestions, light edits, or help guide direction. If needed we can discuss bringing in a copywriter for an additional fee. If photos are needed, we can incorporate high-quality stock imagery when appropriate.
We work in phases and share progress along the way.
You'll have a very clear picture and expectations of how things look long before the end of the project.
Your feedback is part of the process before anything is finalized. This includes initial planning, colors, mockup designs, and final designs. We only move on once we have your explicit approval.
For most packages there are 2 rounds of revisions per page. This is relatively generous however we find that it's the most helpful in getting the designs just right.
If you need additional revision rounds we can add that on during any part of the process and it will be reflected on your final invoice.
Your website price is determined by the scope of the project.
After a short discovery call, we figure out the scope of your project based on page count, content creation needs, integrations, and technical complexity. You’ll receive a clear, itemized quote before anything starts, and we won’t add work or costs without your approval.
We require a 50% deposit to begin and the remaining balance upon handoff. If you need a different payment breakdown, we’re open to discussing options that feel fair on both sides. If there are add-ons during the planning or design process, they will be applied to the final balance. Again, nothing will be added to your balance without your express approval and you will receive a quote for services before we ever begin working on your project.
The price of your website strategy and design is separate from the cost of your domain and hosting for your website. If you own your domain already, that will remain as a separate charge to your domain provider. If you do not yet own a domain you're in luck! All premium plans for Wix Studio include a domain (free for the first year.)
Hosting will be paid directly to Wix and you will need to factor in the cost for monthly hosting fees when considering your needs. If you aren't sure, we can help you decide based on our consultation. You may find that the basic tier is all you need or decide that you want to transfer all of your services to the Wix platform. It all depends on what you need your website to be able to do for you.
Why choose Wix Studio instead of WordPress or Showit?
Wix Studio is powerful enough for premium, custom design on our end but doesn’t lock you into needing a developer forever. Wix Studio is not the same as the general Wix editor that you may have used if you tried to DIY your own website. It's more robust and allows for greater build quality. That means we get the flexibility to create clean, custom designs while keeping your site approachable to manage after launch. We are able to easily use custom code options as well as using the more approachable drag and drop editor.
Wordpress is well known for flexibility however it is also well known for frequent bugs, update issues, and a large learning curve for users.
Showit is a drag and drop editor similar to Wix Studio however it's well known for having an even bigger learning curve and being a bit pricier than Wix Studio.
Wix Studio was a strategic choice for cleaner hand-off to our clients that not only allows us to create solid products that our clients can edit themselves, but also makes room for easier training so that you don't feel so lost when taking over.
We want clients to retain our services and keep working with us because they want to, not because they’re forced to.Yes, you can!
We’ll walk you through the basics so you feel confident making updates. There is also a ton of support in the Wix Studo community from in-depth training videos to online chat support with Wix Studio developers and other happy users.
If you’d rather not handle it, we also offer hourly support for tweaks and quick fixes, or monthly maintenance if you'd like to keep us on retainer.
